Classes in East Glendalough School
6 couples (out of 20 couples) were selected to perform a Latin formation routine in the East Glendalough school's open day in May 2011. After only 9 weeks of tuition, these 6 couples performed this fantastic piece of routine to an excellent standard. Sadly we couldn't be there due to other commitments. But the organiser of the Transition year programme said, 'The open evening show went really well. The students were brilliant. Thanks again to you both for your enthusiasm and professionalism.'

NEW!! Another 6 couples from the EGS transition year 2012 are going to perform a Latin American Formation routine at the EGS's 2012 Open Night in May 2012. We had 9 weeks to learn the whole routine. Some of the students went to India for some of these 9 weeks but being so talented, they learnt the routine to a very impressive standard. Click to see them at their rehearsal.

WLD Dance & Fitness - is the teacher of the current 2 years undefeated All Ireland and ROI Under 8 Ballroom and Latin dancing champions and Late Late Toy Show 2011 performers. We are the largest competitive Ballroom and Latin Dance school in South Eastern county Wicklow. Our teachers are UKA Licentiate qualified and were internationally trained by World, British and Dutch champions and have over 15 years experience in competiting, performing and teaching Ballroom and Latin dance.

From September 2012, our Ballroom and Latin Dance classes will be based in our purpose built BRAND NEW dance studio in Rathnew, featuring professional sprung dance floor, mirror balls and disco lights. We have classes for children aged 3 and upwards and adults.
We also provide Bokwa Fitness Level 1, 2 & 3 classes for teens and adults in Rathnew, Bray and Greystones for those who would like to keep fit, loose weight with a cardio workout. A Bokwa fitness sessions has been proven to burn up to 1300 calories. Participants are seeing results within weeks of joining. Bokwa Kids classes are available in Rathnew
Since the beginning of WLD Dance and Fitness, we have brought joy of Ballroom and Latin dancing to many students. Some of whom are being trained to compete in competitions across Ireland.

Pink Dance Wicklow raised over €1000 for NBCRI

Pink Dance Wicklow was a 90 min Ballroom and Latin Dancercise class accompanied by Ireland's preimier 8 piece swing band - Holly and the Go Lights.

Max and Naoise performed in Late Late Toy Show 2011
Our Under 8 Ballroom and Latin dancing champions appeared in the Late Late Toy Show 2011. Max and Naoise were one of the 35 acts out of thousands to be selected to audition for the Late Late Toy Show. After an impressive performance at the audition, Max and Naoise were selected to perform as one of the opening acts for the Late Late Toy Show 2011.
Both Max and Naoise did an excellent job at the most watched show in Ireland which pulled in an average of 1.4 million viewers in 2011. More behind the scene photos and videos on www.MaxNaoise.com

Following the popularity of TV programmes such as Strictly Come Dancing, Dancing with the Stars, So you think you can dance and so on, increasingly we are being asked by young adults to teach them to dance competitively. As a result we have set up an Adult competitive Ballroom and Latin Dance class in Arklow for those from 16 years old and above. Interested? Read more.

Max and Naoise have been working really hard to retain the title. Their next task will be to defend their All Ireland champions title in June. Many congratulations to both.

We are pleased to announce that we now have a permanent home in Rathnew - Merrymeeting Centre above Centra. Entrance via Wilton Manor.
Our WLD Dance studio is BRAND NEW and purpose built and it's solely dedicated to Ballroom dancesport and Bokwa Fitness.
The WLD Dance studio is fully equipped with a 178 sq metres professional sprung dance floor, full length mirror, mirror balls, disco lights, tea & coffee facilities & parents waiting area. It enjoys a spectacular view and it's closed to amenities (Centra, hair and beauty salon, pharmacy, take away & deco centre)

- Leave the M11 at the Wicklow, Rathnew exit.
- At the second Round-about turn right towards Rathdrum
- Turn left when you see sign for M11 towards Wexford up the hill
- When you see the big sign on the left saying Village Mill turn left
- 1st round-about turn right
- 2nd round-about turn left
- 2nd road on the left is Wilton Manor Turn left into Wilton Manor
- Take first right and follow the road round
- And you will see a patch of grass in front of you
- The studio is the unit at the corner on the left.
